Summer School 2025 Informational Page

This summer school page will have all necessary information needed to be successful during Summer School 2025! We want to ensure all of our Buccaneers make-up their classes for graduation purposes or to get back on track for a 4-Year college/university (A-G College Requirements). We can do it!

Parent/Guardian Notification

Dear Parent/Guardian/Estimados Padres/Tutores:

Your student has been enrolled in the 2024-2025 BUSD Secondary Summer School program at Mayfair High School. Students will pick up their schedules on Tuesday, June 10th. Schedules can also be viewed on Aeries Parent Portal on 6/9/25.

Summer School Dates: Tuesday, 6/10/2025 through Thursday, 7/10/2025 (No school June 19, June 20, and July 4).

Period 1- 2 (Block 1)                           8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Period 3- 4 (Block 2)                          10:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Period 5- 6 (Block 3)                          1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Students are required to attend the entire session to receive a passing grade and credit. ANY ABSENCE FROM CLASS MAY SEVERELY AFFECT FINAL CLASS GRADE AND COMPLETION due to required class assignments and participation. Students will be dropped from class on the third (3^rd) absence; no allowances will be made for excused absences or family vacations.

Grades will be available at the conclusion of extended year through the District’s parent portal. Grades will appear on your student’s transcript. A hard copy will be made available upon request.

Su hijo/a ha sido matriculado en el programa escolar de verano del distrito BUSD para el año 2024-2025 en la Mayfair High School. Los estudiantes recogerán su horario martes, 10 de junio, 2025. Los horarios de clases también se pueden ver en el Portal para padres de Aeries en 6/9/25.

Fechas del programa de verano: Martes, 6/10/2025 a Jueves, 7/10/2025 (No hay clases 19 de junio, 20 de junio, y 4 de julio)

Periodo 1-2 (Block 1)                           8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Periodo 3-4 (Block 2)                           10:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Periodo 5-6 (Block 3)                           1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Los estudiantes tienen que asistir toda la sesión para poder recibir calificaciones y créditos. Cualquier falta podría afectar negativamente el grado final de la clase y la habilidad de completar EL CURSO debido a los requisitos de tareas y participación. Los estudiantes serán despedidos de la clase al faltar tres (3) veces, esto incluye ausencias justificadas o por causa de vacaciones.

Grados serán disponibles por medio del portal de Padres al concluir el programa de verano. Grados se proyectarán en la transcripción de su estudiante. Podrá solicitar una copia.
